Apple Family Dental, P.C. is using surgical grade filters with 6 levels of filtration and UV light in every room to eliminate 99% of pathogens in the air. In addition to surgical filters our clinic utilizes hospital grade UV Lamp afterhours to disinfect all surfaces and air. Dr. Karina Golubyants DMD
Dr. Karina Golubyants graduated from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2011. After the dental school, she chose to further her education by taking internship program for General and Aesthetic Dentistry from the same school. Dr. Karina is a second-generation doctor after her parents, where her mother is also a Dentist and father is a Neurosurgeon.
Dr. Karina Golubyants was practicing dentistry in Moscow until she moved to NYC to marry her husband Dr. Bagrat Petrosov in 2014. Dr. Karina and her husband have chosen to leave New York City for her education in UIC College of Dentistry. They have lived in Chicago Land for four years and have two sons.
Dr. Karina Golubyants, DMD graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2022. The same year she became a winner of Illinois State Dental Society Foundation Clinical Research.
Dr. Karina Golubyants became an owner of Apple Family Dental in 2024. After taking over the practice, she has upgraded and modernized the clinic's equipment and procedures, dental management software and processes, making it the state-of -the-art facility that it is today. Dr. Karina Golubyants excels in dental procedures as related to general dentistry with special attention to cosmetic and restorative procedures. She also spends a lot of her professional time to treat pediatric patients.

Dr. Karina Golubyants strongly believes in providing the highest standard of care and takes great pride in serving her patients’ every dental need. Dr. James O’Carroll, DDS
Dr. O’Carroll graduated from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and later received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1985.
Dr. O’Carroll has proudly served the dental care needs of the Des Plaines area for over 35 years. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and he stays up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies. He established Apple Dental Associates, LTD in 1990 and has been serving Des Plaines community ever since. In 2024 Dr. O’Carroll became an associate doctor with Apple Family Dental, P.C.

Anna graduated from Harper College in 2010 with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and has Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Administration. Anna’s love of dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is beneficial to their overall health. Anna enjoys spending time with her family. Anna is fluent in Polish, so all our Polish speaking patients will get the best care in their own language.

Adelina is passionate about all dental procedures and loves working with a team that helps her learn and grow. With over 5 years of experience in the dental field, she is certified in coronal polishing, dental sealant application. She loves creating brighter, happier smiles! Adelina is happily married with 3 beautiful children. Her free time is spent at home with her family.

Sue is very passionate about dental assisting and eagerly strives to enhance her knowledge in new techniques, technologies, and advances in dentistry.
